Copa Baleares 2013

Aguilar starts 2013 right off where he left off in 2012!

Mario Galiano Aguilar won the Copa Baleares at the Son Antem Golf Resort on the island of Mallorca with rounds of 75,71,68 and 69 by 5 shots over Antoni Ferrer Mercant and 6 over Javier Sainz Delgado. Aguilar, who finished 2012 with a victory at the International Spanish U21s, picked up right where he left off with his victory. Although the 2013 season is just beginning in Europe, Aguilar looks to be a player to watch in the U18 division.

Returning to the amateur scene after playing as a professional was the 2002 British Amateur Champion, Calejandro Larrazabal Corominas. Larrazabal had to sit out a year before he could regain his amateur status.
