French Boys Match Play in the Home Stretch

The first day of match play at the French Boys saw plenty of action. In the first round, stroke play medalist Sweden’s Adam Eineving was knocked out by Switzerland’s Jeremy Freiburghaus.
While most of the top seeds survived the first round, two of Europe’s top U18 players locked horns in the second round. France’s Kenny Subregis took on England’s Bradley Moore to see who would move on. Moore was the better man sending the Frenchman packing 4/2 and takes on Harry Ellis who knocked out another top Frenchman Pierre Mazier 4/3.
Saturday will see one of the most high profile matches in recent history when Germany’s Wunderkind Dominic Foos takes on Norway’s Kristoffer Ventura. Foos has been almost unbeatable in the past 12 months in match play, but Ventura is the closest thing to superman in the U18 age category. Anyone within driving distance would be advised to head over to see this match, it is sure to be a great one!
