Italy's Migliozzi Rolls On!

Gudio Migliozzi, the Italian Stallion, continued his run of fine golf by winning the French Boys held at the Golf du Medoc. Migliozzi beat Frenchman, Augstin Hole, 2 up in their 36 hole match play final. Migliozzi got as far as 4 up in the morning match, but Hole came roaring back to see the match even after 18. Hole hung in there threw 23 holes, but in the end, Migliozzi was too strong and took the title.
Migliozzi has already won the Nation’s Cup at Sotogrande and finished 2nd at the Italian Amateur. He is not alone in his assault on European golf, his teammate Renato Paratore has already won in Portugal and is top of the U18 rankings. With the Lytham Trophy less than two weeks away, it will be interesting to see what challenge the north of Europe has for the Italian invasion.
