The Flying Dutchman Dominates at Lytham

Daan Huizing claimed the Lytham Trophy and cemented himself at the top of the European Golf Rankings.

In second place was Germany’s Moritz Lampert, whose form in 2012 has him keeping pace with Huizing for the race to the top. Ironically, Huizing and Lampert were foresome partners at the recent Bonallack Trophy held in Portugal. Lampert commented that the only thing better than playing with Daan at the Bonallack Trophy would be to partner with him someday at the Ryder Cup. In third place was Wales’ Ben Westgate who finished on a day’s best 68.

Next week will be a busy week with major fixtures in Ireland, Italy and Scotland, and in the South of England. 2012 is proving to be one of the best seasons in recent history and EGR is looking forward to bringing you all the action!! Stay tuned:)
