France’s Paul Barjon held off a slew of international players on his way to winning the Carrick Neill Scottish Open Stroke Play Championship.

With a host of international players in position to win with just 9 holes remaining, Barjon produced his best golf and eventually won by 4 shots over South Africa’s Haydn Porteous. Third Place went to Australia’s Rory Bourke.

The Scottish Open Stroke Play had one of the richest international fields of the year. Most of the same South Africans, Australians and New Zealanders will be in the field for this weeks St. Andrews Links Trophy. A player winning a 10,000+ point event can make a major move in the rankings!
